A raw milk, small, firm goats cheese from the Loire valley with an intense flavour. Crottin are moist and smooth when young and as they develop they lose moisture shrinking and intensifying the flavours into a much firmer and drier cheese. Excellent as part of a cheeseboard, but also great grilled with a salad and paired with a Sancerre.
