Made by David and Jo Clarke on their Leicestershire dairy farm, this is a truly traditional Red Leicester. A million miles away from the cheese which has of course developed a bad reputation in the UK due to high demand leading to poor quality factory imitations of the farmhouse product. This is the real deal, made traditionally with unpasteurised milk and carefully aged. This all results in a lovely creamy and nutty cheese with a slightly crumbly texture that leaves a lingering aftertaste.
